THE RABBIT INDUSTRY.
A CO-OPERATIVE SCHEME. [Pkr Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, Feb. 6. Mr A. Espite and his secretary are meeting with marked success oh their mission to o Southliind m\ behalf of the Rabbit Trappers' Union and a co-operative scheme for exporting this season's catch. Meetings have been addressed in Riverton, Otautau, Orawia, Nightcaps and Invercargill, and the bulk of the trappers have signed an agreement to export through the Union. Mr E?pie intends to visit Riversdale, Lumsden, Kingston and Qiiecnstown during the next week, Mr J. J. Ramsay taking the district* from Gore to Cluthn. The movement is an assured success, and it is calculated that two and a half million rabbits will be pub through this season.
