PRIMITIVE METHODIST CONFERENCE.
[Peb Pki?ss Association.] ASHBURTON, Jan. i 5. At yesterday afternoon's sitting of the Primitive Methodist -Conference the report of the church properties was received. There are sixty-orw churches and thirty houses, tho total cof?t of which had been £44,218. The income for tha year was £5496, and the amount paid off the debt during tha year £1232. The present debt ;•) £10,518, the value of. tho property £47,665, and the value of the musical instruments £1945. Tic following were returned as superannuated ministers:— The Revs J. Dumbell and W. J. Dean, Wellington; and the Rov-P. W. Jones, Feilding.
