Gibbons, president, was fu thp chair, arid about 200' nien$ers were present. The report of the committee showed the Union to be im a very satisfactory position. About forty new meniber. were elected during thp year, and the total nuniber of members is 330. The following officers were elected for the enssumg year: — President, Mr H. Gibbons (re-elected) ; vice-president, MrF. Wal^ljn; secretary, Mr 4- P^mei (re-elected) ; treasurer, Mr W. Percival (reelected) ; cbnimittee, Messrs J. Annan (reelected), T. Radcliffe (re-elected), J. Reed ancl A.. Wilson ; trustees, Messrs T. James, G. Dix ancl W. Bate ; auditors,' Messrs H. Voyce and W.
