THE VOLUNTEERS.

At. the Queen's Oadets' camp yesterday morning, the corps paraded at 10.30 o'clock, and marched down to the beach, where- a number of column movements were practised. The company was then divided into half companies for the purpose of holding a sham fight. During the afternoon the Stanmore Band played a- number of selections, and the physical drill team gave an exhibition, in the presence of a large gathering of spectators. Captain Linn was m camp all day, and the officers -inspected tLe tents, the prize for best-kept tent being won by No. 1, in charge of Colour-Sergeant Prebble. This morning there was a parade at six o'clock. It has been d«cid-ed to prolong the camp until to-morrow-
