«. The colonial friends of Mr and Mrs W. B. Craag (<iays the "British Australasian") will soon have the pleasure of seeing- them, as they are on the eve of taking a trip to the colonies, going vim. the United States, Japan and Torres Straits to Australia. Mrs Craig's parents -will celebrate their golden wedding this year. Mrs Craig's father (the Rev Mr Glass'on) was Vicar of Avonside, Christehurch, but is now residing in Melbourne. Mr Craig, who is the cir.y manager of the New York Life Insurance Office, has very ably conducted that company's affairs, and thoroughly earned his long holiday. He will arrive in Dunedin, b}- way of the Bluff, about Jan. 7. Mr and Mrs R. W. Chapman left by this morning's express train for the south on a holiday trip to Mount Conk. Messrs J. M'Rae, John McGregor, G. L. Cook and E. Honey were passengers by the express train for tho south this morning.
