« . IN CHAMBERS. Monday, Dec. 22. (Before His Honor Mr Justice Deriniston.) Probate was granted to the executors of R. L. Lamming, deceased, on the applicati&n of Mr Russell. Costs were fixed in the case of Taylor and Oakley v. the Crown Iron Works, judgment in which was given defendants on Friday last. The allowance was on the lowest scale, extra days £7 7s, second counsel £6 6s, cbsts and disbursements. Probate was granted in the estate of James Tobin, deceased, Waipara Valley, on the motion of Mr Brown. Mrs Sarah Dixon, Hokitika, widow, applied for a writ of mandamus, directing Duncan Macfariane, warden of the Warden's Court, to hear a case between the plaintiff and Carl Peter Carlson, and two others. MrCresswell appeared for the plaintiff and Mr- Fisher for the defendants. His Honor granted the application.
