A queer kind of letter, says the " Daily Telegraph," was in the correspondence rack at Edgbaston a few days ago. It was ■ nothing more nor less than a shirt cuff, which had come across the world addressed to an Australian accompanying the cricket team through England. After the name, the address went on, "Care of Australian Cricketers, Somewhere in England." It was duly stamped, and bore the usual postmarks. It had been posted after the news of the first test match collapse !had been' cabled to Australia, and in large lettering were the word*, "Ten for 36, and two for 10 versus nine for 376," and the postscript wm, "Look out for further cuffs."
