Mr J. Gilruth, Chief'Government Veterinarian, visited the site of the abbatoirs at Sockburn on Saturday. At the Kaiapoi Stipendiary Magistrate's Court to-day, Wore Mt Moore, J.P-, and Mr Feldwiok, J.P., a prohibition order was issued against a man for twelve months, to take effect in the Kaiapoi, Avon and Christchurch districts, on the application of the police.
