Consols 96§Three months' bills are discounted at 2$ 1 per cent. New South Wales 4 per cent inscribed stock is quoted at 116, 3 per oent 95±. South Australian 3£ per cent 105. New! Zealand 3£ per cent 109. "" Wheat— The European markets are firm and quiet, and the American, axe weak. Cargoes are steady. A Victorian January shipment and a New South Wales February shipment easily sold at 50s 6d; -~ Copper £54 per ton. ! Tin— On spot £137 per ton, three months' £133 5s per ton. Pig iron 54s 3d per ton. ! Lead £11 7s 6d per ton. Spelter £18 8s 9d per ton. Wool at Bradford has slow sales and prices are unchanged. The London sales were brisk amd prices were fully maintained.
