To-day Cyril Douglas Finn and James Eagar were committed for trial for breaking said entering the Waihi Reduction Works and stealing golden slimes to the value of £700. Counsel for defence expressed surprise at the absence of certain witnesses. He said the case presented was an extremely weak one except for tike fact of the possession of the slimes. . Bail was allowed in two sureties of £100 each.
