An American five-masted schooner has been towed into Newcastle disabled by a series of gales. She had been leaking badly since Christmas Day. A mam named Edward Buirman, aged sirty-six, died suddenly lttet night from failure of the heart's action. At the incpiest touching the death of H. Needbam, the victim of the Oharui shooting tragedy, *he jury returned a verdict that the deceased so his gun that it went off and shot him, his cleath being accidental.
