Mr Warren, the Manager of the Eastern Extension Cable Company, has conferred with the Postmaster-General with reference to the removal of the compamy's La. Perouse station. He stated; that the company finds its present office inconvenient, and is anxious to arrive at an understanding with respect to the expense of removal to a better position. The terms of the arrangement have not been, divulged). Another deadlock has occurred in connection with the Caipe cable. The Federal Postmaster-General has requested the Eastern Extension Cable Comgany to state the concessions it is prepared to maka to expedite the substitution of the present agreement with the various States for one> with the Federal Government, The pom-, pany replied that it must know exaqtlywhat variations the Federal Gaverattjeab wishes to make before it can w*eet it-.
