NEW ZEALAND CASUALTIES.

[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Jan. 4. The Governor has been advised thatTrooper W. R. Davies, of Medbury, Canterbury, was severely wounded in the chest near Ingogo, on Dec. 29, and that G. \A. Sargcewn, of the Scottish Horse, .> a son of Mr W. Sargeson, of Hawera, died of enteric at Geriniston, on Dec. 19. The following members of the Seventh Contingent are dangerously ill 'from enteric fever: — Trooper M'Narn (Westport), at Mooi River ; Lance-Corporal R. F. Flower (Blenheim), at Newcastle ; and Trooper B. B. Reville (? D. R. Revell, Christchurch), at Charlestown.
