FROZEN MEAT THAWING.
A NEW PROCESS. [Fhom Oun Correspondent. 1 WELLINGTON, Oct" 21. A further test of Mi" A. 11. Chapman's process of dry thawing of meat was given at the Gear Company's premises on Saturday, in the presence of the Minister of Agriculture, {he Secretary of the Agricultural Department, and others. The general opinion of those present is that the method is likely to prove a success. At the Minister's request, a meeting of the Joint Stock Committee will be convened to-morrow, to hear the evidence concerning this process of thawing.
