A cable message from Brisbane published to-day with reference to the Pacific cable business, and the Queensland Premier's remark therewith, has created some surprise in the Hou.*e. On Friday the PosUnasterGeneral gave a denial to «> similar statement (hen published. On the contrary, on the completion of the Pacific cable it should be «t-f just as much advantage to Queensland as it can be to New Zealand. There lias been no attempt or.
