Two-thirds of the business quarter of Sydney, Cape Brston, has been d'estroya*! by fire. I (Sydney, or South Sydney, as it is sometimes called, is a seafeorb town of Nora Scotia, and was formerly capital of Cape Breton. It has six churches, three bwtfeh. banks, a Courthousey a Masonic Hall, two newspaper offices, a number of hotels, and some foundries, tanneries, o|'her factories and shipyards. Its population numbers about 4000.)
