PIGS AND POULTRY.
There ivas an exceptionally brisk demand for pigs and poultry at the tides to-day, and a. large entry was practically cleared out at an advance on the previous wefk's prices. Pigs brought Is 6tl to 2s «, 'head better. .Store pigs 'brought from 10s 6d to 12s 6d, porkers 19s 6d to 23s 6d, small pigs 4s 6d to 5s 6cl. store -do 10s 6d to 19s 6cl. There were 15 pens: of poultry offered, and the^e. commanded a reauy sale. Hens brought from os 3d to 4s, pullets 5s 6d to 5"« 3d. ducks 5s 6d to ss, roosters 3s 6d to ss, lien turkeys 6s 6d to 9s 6d, a few gobblers 6s to 8s 6d.
