A telegram from WeTtttigtooi announces that Acting-Detectives Nixon, (of Wellington), and Cassells (of 'Chidstchurch.), <aje about to exchange stations. *At a meeting of the Wellingtons branch of the New Jsealaud Institute of Journalists, held on Saturday evening, it was resolved that a letter of condolence should be sent, to the relatives of Mr Charles Hull, formerly editor of the "Star." Mr J. Heslop, one of Sir Joseph Ward's secretaries, has been appointed private secretary to* the Hon C. H. Mills, an succession to Mr Crow, who has been promoted to .the "Baneardi" staff. >- t ' (
