HUNTING.
The Christohurch hounds met at Mr ! Gough's, Kirwee, on.. Tuesday, and no better place for a meet after, a long ofhunting weather could be faund. The sport -was good allthrough the day, and one run "of alioiit twenty minutes, ending « lull,- \ras voted to be quite the fastest gallop of;. the. season: Owing to iihe snow lying thickly on the south side of. the fences, some half-, dozen spills took place, one looking; very serious at the time, but altogether '-the-, going was first-class, and nobody -was badly ; hurt.
