DEPARTING VOLUNTEERS.

Some 1200 Volunteers, from Wellington and other parts of (the North. Island, left / by the s.s. Mararoa shortly after noon today, en route for their homes. i Yesterday evening the members o* tne N- Battery entertained the visiting members of the Auckland Coast Guard. Artillery a,t supper, at tifoe .Canterbury Hotel, Lyttelton. Sergeant-Major Suitor, of the K Battery, presided, and proposed the nea-ltn of tin* visitors, to w&ich Li-sutemmfc Lees responded.
