As their Royal Highnesses entered their carriage thfe procession reformed, and, passing over Gloucester Street. Bridge, madi its way through enthusiastic and cheettn-j crowds along Olombo Street to Victoria Square. As the carriage entered the enclosure, the Ohristchurch Garrison Band, which was stationed at the north-wes* oorner, played the National An/them, and tlie - vast assemblage on the graded: platforms rose simultaneously, and hearty dheers rent the air. . <•
