MrR, T. Searell has state^ liis willingness to •attend at the principal city and subiu % ban schools and conduct rehearsals of the National Anthem. It is probable-that a combined rehearsal will be held in the Drillshtd on Saturday week. Arr3.igement« have* been made with. Mr JJ. Dickie to hold a Punch-and-Judy show in the annexe at the Canterbury Hall, where the children will be entertained after the ceremony on Monday, June 1 24. Seats on the platforms for the ' children have not yet been divided into sections, as numbers from the schools ate, still coming mi and the probable total number has not yet been ascertained^ Each school with over 300 children has been requested to nominate a selected girl to present the bouquet to the Duchess. ■ A suggestion has been made that - tie final decision should be by ballot, and that the drawing should be done by Mrs A. E. G. Rhodes. A stated time will be fixed,., and it is expected that much interest will be taken by the children in the balloting. The children must be in their places on the platforms at 10.15 a.m. on Monday. The Traffic Manager will be requested to' have all trains in by 9.45 a.m. The singing of the National Anthem, by the children will be led by the Stanmore Band. ' :•■ . , . .'.
