GREYMOUTH, May I. Mr Seddon to-day was presented with' congratulations from the theads of local bodies and 'business people upon the eighth anniversary of his Premiership. In reply, the Premier declared his determination to retain the present position as long as he retained the confidence of the people. All rumours to the contrary were entirely misleading. f
