OBITUARY.
[Peb Pbess Association.] NAPIER, May 1. The death is announced of Mr F. C. Pulton, "the manager of the Land and Loan Company. The deceased came to the colony in 1850, and has since been successfully connected with farming, shipping a-nd commercial interests. In 1878 he met with * serious accident by the capsizing of the Dunedin-Oamaru coach, on its last trip before the opening of the railway, and never thoioughly recovered from the effects. He was sixty-five years of age at the time of his death. ..,..<*■•
