A meeting of the executive of the Union. Rowing Club was held at the boathous£ last evening. It was decided to instrucb the club's, delegateat the meeting of the New Zealand) Amateur Rowing Association on Feb. 2 to support th^moiaott proposed by the Otago clubs with regard to local government. Messrs Kesteven and Atack were appointed a subcommittee to forward! details. Programmes were received of the Sydney Anniversary and Balimain regattas. Itnvas decided to send a circular to all members whose subscriptions are unpaid, to the effect that they wiiU lose trtfl privileges |of membership if their subscriptions are not paid by Feb. 1.
