LONDON, Jan. 10. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for tihe United Kingdom is 2,495,000
quarbers, and for the Continent 730,000 quarters. Nine thousand quarters of Victorian wheat, January and February shipmen£, and: 12,000 quarters of South Australian wheat, January shipment, Bold at 30s 6d! per quarter at the London sales. Wool.— The arrivals for the London sales", which will open on Jan. 15, total 250,000 bales. Forty-one thousand bales have 'been forwardted! to the manufacturers dfceot, leaving 339,000 available for the sales. Share quotations.— Australian and JNew Zealand Trust and Mortgage Co., 89.
Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London, office, under date Jan. Wool Sales.— The list of arrivals for the first series Is closed. .The total colonial wool • available, including old stocks, is 339,000 bales. The dates of our own sales are Jan. 16 and 23, and Feb. 2 and 11. At the Antwerp sales, prices are higher by 10 per cent as compared with average rates of last Antwerp sales.
Messrs Dalgety and/ Company, Limited 1 , have received ike following cable (message from their London office, under date Jan. 9 :— " . Tallow. — As compared with the public sales of tallow in London on Deo. 19, .prices in general are higher by 6di to 9d! per cwt.
