The rights of the fruit stalls in the Exhibition were sold by auction yesterday. The court in. which, the Maori exhibits are to be shown is fast approaching completion, and the various Government sections, including the Agricultural, Defence andPublic Works exhibits, are so far advanced *hab some idea can now be formed of the «onrprehenßiveneßß of these exhibits. The outdoor garden, in the centre of tho •xhibition is now levelled, and a start las been made to pub in tho fountain and the various shrubs and 1 flowers. This ■should form a most attractive lounge for smokers. The larger proportion of the' more important stands in the exhibition- are begining !to show a ■satisfactory wppearaawie, and considerable energy is being shown in the entteavour to have them ready for the opening, but there are still a few of the smaller exhibitors who have mot put in an appearance. The Space Committee has, in several instances, forfeited the stands of persons who have nob claimed their spaces, *nd these have all been re-let.
