COMPENSATION TO LOYALISTS.
(Received Sept. 15, 11.45 a.m.) CAPETOWN, Sept. 14. Sir Gordon. Sprigg proposes that the Government shall pay 50 per cent directly the Commissioners have assessed the amount of compensation which should be paid to loyalists. He hopes that Great Britain and the Chartered Company will contribute towards the Compensation Fund.
