PROCEEDINGS AT THE POLICE COURT.

At the PoKee Court this morning, before Mr J. B. Sim, J.P., and Mr E. H. Ricketts, J. P. , Henry. Harris Divers and Tnomas James Trounsen were charged that they aid assault one James Daly and thereby .cause him actual bodily harm. Mr Byrne appeared for bota accused, -who pleaded not guilty. Sub-Inspector O'Brien, in detailing the circumstances of the affair, said that he would ask for a remand, as Daly was now in the hospital, and his injuries were so v serious that it was impossible to say 'what • would be the -outcome.
