WEATHER FORECAST.

The following weather forecast was telegraphed from Wellington to-day: — Wind, 'moderate, - and generally from iiho eastward, at all places northward of Napier and New . SPlymoath, and easterly during {he next twelve to twenty hours at all other places, but changing after that time to a gale from between tho north-east and the north and west The barometer will show very little movement uortbward of Napier and New Plymouth, and fall sfc all other places. The sea will be heavy on the west coast south of New Plymouth and iefcweea Castle Point and Kaikoura after twenty hours, and moderate elsewhere. Tho tides will ba high on both coasts of the South Island, good between Cape Egmont and Foxton, and moderate at all other places. . Cold weather will continue northward of Napier and ■New Plymouth.
