The PostmasterrGteneral has received a cable message from the Premier of Canada protesting against the granting of any concessions to tHe Eastern Extension Company, and adding that he cannot share the responsibility involved in granting the concessions. Thp PostmasterTQeneral has also received a, message fTon> Mr Criok stating that he is prepared 1* accept the suggestion of Victoria concerning the opening of offices ( that the company shjsuld pay so much p*r word instead of a rental.
