The corps, if accepted, will be nampd the Wanganui Highlanders, and will wear the uniform of the Gordons. ' A corps of naval cadets is now organised jin Lyttelton. Roder were elected committeemen. * Mr Longuet addressed the company on various matters, and a quantity of routine business was transacted. • The Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry turned out thdrty-one strong on contingent Saturday.
