♦ i CHRISTCHURCH. Thursday, Nov. 23. (Before Mr T. York, J.P., and Mr J. C. Atkinson, J. P.) Theft. — Edward Ryder pleaded guilty to having stolen a counterpane and other articles, of. a total value of 17s 6d, from H. E. Pearcey. The prisoner, who had previously been convicted fourteen times for similar offences, was sentenced to two months' imprisonment with hard labour.
