There was a fair attendance at the Ashbur- i ton Yards yesterday. About 13,000 sheep > were entered. Freezing .and butchers' sheep • maintained' late rates, but for stores there ! was rather less inquiry. Fat sheep brougbt i as high as 19s, butchers' ewes brought 9s od to 12s 2d, lambs 9s to lis 2d, brewing lambs 10s to 14s 6d, fat merinos 8s 3d. In store sheep, two and four-tooth aethers brought 13s 9d to 16s 7d, lambs 9s- 'to 10s lld. merino ewes in lamb 5s 6d to 7s 9d, cross-bred ewes in lamb (failing mouths). 9s to 12s, gcef, 16s. te 19s per I.QOIb s '"" ""'
