Mr Lang's trip to Australia was on a holiday, but his time was almosij wholly occupied in visiting the principal dairy factories in New South Wales and Victoria. His attention was also directed to the condition in which New Zealand dairy produce is delivered in Sydney and Melbourne, and he will have some interesting information on this y* point to give to the Dairymen's Conference lit the Dunedin Winter Show, next week, at which he will be one of the judges. Mr o; Lang was a guest at the dinner in connec- rt tion with the annual conference of the. He gave them a ohoice of three things, stipulating for regular attendance and a large class. The first was a night school twice a week, the second a weekly lecture on physiology and lessons on health,, and the third a gymnastic and calisthenic club, it was decided by a large majority that a gymnastic club should be formed.
