[Per Press Association.] AUCKLi_ND, May 30. Mr John Bollard addressed the Eden elec tors at Devonport last night. His speed was condemnatory of the present Administration. As to finance, .he said that thej were living in a fooli's paradise. If tht English money-lenders stopped paying tomorrow there would be chaos. He said that he would again be a candidate. A vote ol confidence was carried unanimously. Mr F. W. Lang addressed his" Waikatc constituents. His speech was strongly adverse to the Government. He alluded to the Premiers threat that the constituencies , that would not support the Government > would get no money. This plan had failed in Waitemata and other electorates, and he thought that the Waikato electors were quite equal in intelligence and political morality to the electors in other parts where the plan had failed, and it would fail in Waikato. He was just as independent as when he entered the House six years ago. He received a vote of confidence unanimously.
Mr W. W. Tanner will address his constituents at St Paul's schoolroom, Papanui, at 7.30 this evening. The Hon W. J. Steward, member for Waitaki, addressed a meeting at Fairle on Monday night, and received a vote of thanks and confidence. An expression of confidence in the Government was carried. He announced that he would be a candidate at the next election.
