SWIMMING.
A meeting of the committee of the Easi Christchurcu Swimming Club was held on Monday evening. Mr F. Truscott was m the chair. Six new members were elected, making a total of sixty for the season. The ( programme for the annual sports meeting to bo held on Feb. 11 was drafted. The final heat of the 100 yds race of the East. Cliristchurjh Club was swum on Monday, F. Drake just beating F. Truscott on the touch. .A. Williams was third.
