THE HYMAN MARKS WARD
At the meeting of the Hospital Board yesterday Mr J. Whitelaw, tile architect appointed by the Board to take charge of the repairs to the plastering of the Hyman Marks Ward, reported that, as instructed, he had had two rooms treated with sanitary paint, and "one with a hard-setting cement distemper callad "nmralo." The members of the Board inspected these looms, and several expressed themselves as pleased with the appearance of the room which had been treated with "murilo." The cos^fc of that article was stated to be mucli less than that of sanitary paint. After some discussion it was decided that Mr Whitelaw should prepare specifications and call for tenders for the repair of the damaged parts of the plaster, and painting the ward and corridor with " n - uralo."
