United Press Association — By Electric Telegraph — Copyright. LONDON, Nov. 24. The New Zealand Trust and Loan Company has declared an interim dividend of 5 per cent per annum. A consignment of Tasmanian trout was sent to England, but it was found that when thawed the fish had lost their colour. At a meeting of Manchester merchants and ship-owners a resolution was carried strongly favouring the opening of direct trade with Australia. There is some likelihood of ship-owners charging the same freights between Manchester and Australia as are charged between London and Austualia, if they are guaranteed full cargoes. BUENOS AYRES, Nov. 24. It is estimated that Argentina will export 1,800,000 lons of wheat this year.
