MISS CELIA DAMPIER.
The complimentary concert arranged for the benefit of little Celia Dainpier will take place to-night in the Choral Hall. In addition to the excellent programme, in which the names of all the leading musical societies and some of our leading vocalists are associated, Mrs Hanson, of Dunedin, will kindly take part. The object of the concort should enlist the sympathy of all music-loving people. It is to send the child to Europe to continue her studies, in which she has already displayed very great talent. A large number of seats have been booked, and this gives every promise of a crowded house to-night. The local committee has had the satisfaction of receiving contributions from generous donors to supplement the fund, now in the hands of trustees, for Miss Darapier's future education, find, concerts are being arranged in Ashburton, Timaru, Oamaru and Dunedin for a similar purpose.
