" MELBOURNE, July 31. 6ir George Turner states that he does not intend floating a loan in London until early m January, when he will place d 'million .-on. the market. This, witli a- quarter of a million, which he intends to rrise locally shortly, will be used for reproductive works. Early next year he will have to place a million and a half on the London market, for the purpose of meeting 4 per cent debentures, which fall due in July. Three per cent stock is to be substituted. This, he says, means a saving of £15,000 per year in interest.
