At a meeting of the New Zealand Midland Railway debenture-holders Mr Alexander Young, receiver of tin* company, announced his intention of carrying the dispute with the Government to the Privy Council if necessary. Several pprakers strongly denounced the Government's action, one saving that it was liUlo removed from fraud. A resolution was passed approving of Air Young's action.
