SYDNEY, March 22. j It is stated that the hard-labour prisoners at Darlinghurst Gaol are in revolt over the new regulation compelling them to drill after they have finished their day's work. Some trouble has been experienced in getting the prisoners back to their cells. They hooted and jeered the officials. GOVERNOR OF VICTORIA. MELBOURNE, March 22. The Governor and Lady Brassey have left on a visit to England. Beceived March 23, 9.45 a.m. ALLEGED FRAUD. MELBOURNE, March 23. A clothing manufacturer named Weenan, together with a number of his employes, haa been charged with committing extensive frauds on the Customs by means of a drawback system. THE QUEENSLAND MINISTRY. BRISBANE, March 23. It is rumoured that Sir H. M. Nelson resigns the Premiership and succeeds Mr Palmer as President of the Legislative Council, Mr Dickson reconstructing the Ministry.
