It is understood that tlie letter of Mr Hanlon, counsel for Clements, under sentence of -death for wife murder, in which reasons were given for believing that Clements is not sane, has been referred tc Mr Justice Denni3ton, and on receipt -oi his reply the matter will be considered by the Executive.
