MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
The fortnightly meeting of the Dauntless Lodge No. 7, 1.0. Q.T., was held on Wednesday -evening, March 9, in the Tempeianoe Hall, Gloucester Street. The chair was occupied by Bro Parker, Past C/L, and there was a good attendance of membere and visitors from other Lodges. The principal business of the evening was the annual ivot-ing for the election of District Deputy for the ensuine year, the candidates being Bro3 Wilson, Pellingham and Hill, it was decided that the Lodge should hold a public meeting on the evening of March 23, so that those outside the Order might iiave a chance of becoming acquainted with its principles and objects. It waa reported that the Lodge was in a sound finandal position.*
