KAURI GUM.
The report of the Kauri Gum Commission has been forwarded to the Gover- . nor. It is understood that it contains some sweeping recommendations, and points out that many of the northern roads are being used for tralHc by diggers who do not pay a penny towards their maintenance and repair.
