It is essential that the photographs sent in should be suitable for reproduction in the paper; otherwise, they will be considered ineligible for competition. Pictures which have previously appeared in other journals are prohibited. Photographs may be printed, on any paper by any process, and may be of any size, provided they be not smaller than quarter-plate. They must be mounted on plain card mounts.
