The Otago .TtjbiliEß. — In consequence cf the large number of visitors to Dunedin in connection with the Otago Jubilee, two express trains were despatched from Christchurch this morning. Amongst the visitors were the Premier, Lady Stout, and several delegates from the Canterbury Industrial Association, who are going to represent the Association at the Industrial Exhibition to be held in Dunedin in connection with the Jubilee. Violent Deaths. — The deaths by -violence in New Zealand during last month numbered seven — five from accident and two from suicide. A cab-driver, died from injuries caused by a runaway horse ; a woman was burnt to death by her clothes catching fire; another died from administration of chloroform and two infants were accidently smothered. One suicide was that of a woman who cut her throat, another the case .of a bricklayer •who poisoned himself. Masonic. — Arrangements are being actively forwarded in connection with the annual communication of the Grand Lodge of New Zealand, to be held in Christchurch at the latter end of next month. The special feature of the gathering, which will be attended by brethren from all parts of the colony, will be the installation of the Grand Master elect, Bro the Right Honorable R. J. Seddon. This imposing ceremony is to take place in the Choral Hall on Thursday, April 23, and will be followed by a banquet in the Social Hall, Madras street. Mobbis-Tube Shooting. —On Friday evening the members of the Christohurch Working Men's Club Rifle Class fired another competition at the 300yds range for prizes presented by Messrs E.
