Sale of Work. — A sale of work in connection with the harvest thanksgiving in St Paul's Church, Papanni, was held yesterday. The ladies' stall was under the charge of Mrs C. Matson, Mrs Prichard and Miss Harris, and was well patronised. Mrs James Homer and Miss M. Homer officiated at the refreshment table ; Miss Dunnage had a produce stall; Misses Fendall and M. Matson managed a bran tub for the children ; and Mr W. Jackson organised a meat stall, which was under the charge of Mr A. Fletcher. At nve. o'clock Mr C. Matson satisfactorily disposed of a quantity of produce and live stock. Musical selections were given m the evenino- by Mrs Mills, Misses A\ oodhouse and A."
