CAPTAIN ANDERSON'S DEATH.
[Per Press Association.J DUNEDIN, March 15. At the Waikare inquiry, Dr Colquhoun stated that the nature of Captain Anderson's injuries was such that the fuil extent was only ascertainable after a post-mortem examination. He was of opinion that his removal to the Bluff and subsequent railage to Invercargill would do more harm than good. Mr Cargill indignantly denied that any pressure was brought to bear on Captain Anderson in order that the ship should proceed on her voyage.
